High Level Team Coaching

Team effectiveness can be measured in four areas.

Focus

The degree to which the team has a clear understanding of what they want to achieve and the strategy to get there. Do they have clarity on the mission and the criteria for success?

Alignment

The degree to which the team members are aligned with each other on the team focus, their values, and the roles and skills needed to be successful. And the degree to which systems and resources are aligned with the team objectives.

Collaboration

The degree to which the team members are able to effectively collaborate with each other and other stakeholders. Do they have the skills and systems to communicate and conduct team meetings effectively, and to bring out the best in each other?

Trust

The degree to which team members trust each other. Do they have confidence in each others' competence and  the ability to do what it takes to succeed. Do they trust each other to meet commitments? Do they trust external and internal customers?

What We Do

Thinking Partners uses a number of processes to assist teams in maximizing their effectiveness and their success. These include:

Team member interviews, on-line surveys, The Birkman Inventory, emotional intelligence models, values clarification processes, issues clarification and action planning.

Each team is unique and our approach is customized to meet the needs specific to a particular team. We co-design processes with management and team leadership so that there is clarity on how the defined objectives will be achieved.

Retreat Facilitation

In addition to team development facilitation, we are often engaged to facilitate executive team meeting during retreats. We can facilitate team development processes, strategic planning initiatives and focused conversations designed to move a team and organization forward.
